The Experience Behind the Work
For more than twenty years I have partnered with senior executives across corporate, non-profit, healthcare, financial services, and entrepreneurial organisations throughout Africa, North America, Europe, and Asia, helping them navigate growth, organisational change, and the complexities of executive leadership.
Working across industries and cultures has taught me that while every organisation is different, the challenges senior executives face are remarkably similar. Understanding what sits beneath the role.
People usually come to me with a challenge they are trying to understand. Something is not working, a decision feels more complicated than it should, or the same issue keeps appearing in different forms. I listen for what sits beneath the problem: the patterns, motivations and connections that are easy to miss when you are close to the situation.
The Enneagram is one of the tools I use to bring greater clarity to what is happening. It helps us understand how people think, communicate and respond, particularly under pressure, while opening up choices that may not have been visible before. For me, changing the way we connect begins with understanding ourselves more honestly, seeing others more clearly and recognising that we do not have to keep responding in the same way.
When you understand the person behind the role, you begin to understand not only what needs to change, but what will make that change possible.
